I am dulcequilts!

Hi, I’m Trisha Moller, the maker behind dulcequilts. I am a quilter and crafter with 33+ years of experience. I love all kinds of fabrics and all kinds of quilts!

This site will have posts about what I am doing now, what I have done and what I am hoping to do soon. I started making traditional quilts in the 90’s but have discovered so much since then. I make jackets and small happy villages as well as other projects.

I am married to a wonderfully understanding man who encourages me to continue in my craft. I have two married sons, two fab daughters (in law) and one lovely granddaughter who sits on my lap and helps when we sew together. I teach quilting in my retirement after teaching Spanish for 20 years.

I am migrating from a different blog designer so please be patient as I navigate a new site. i am attempting to move the materials but I am not the most technological!

Piecefully, Trisha

Tutorials You Can Actually Finish

Step-by-step posts focused on real quilting outcomes—clean piecing, accurate cutting, and confident pressing. Expect clear photos, practical tips, and simple troubleshooting so you can move from “stuck” to “top finished” without guesswork.

Patterns, Blocks, and Quilt Math

From classic blocks to modern layouts, I share patterns, measurements, and the why behind them. You’ll find fabric guidance, yardage help, and layout options so you can make each project your own without starting over.

Classes, Events, and Project Inspiration

Quilting is better together. I post upcoming classes and workshops, what to bring, and what we’ll cover—plus a gallery of finished quilts to spark ideas for your next color palette, quilting motif, or gift-worthy make.

Dulce Quilts is a home for curious makers who want quilts that feel personal — with clear tutorials, practical patterns, and honest project notes.

Dulce Quilts began as a simple place to save project photos, pattern tweaks, and the little lessons you only learn at the sewing machine. Over time, those notes turned into posts worth sharing—so other quilters could borrow an idea, avoid a mistake, or feel inspired to start the next quilt.

Here you’ll find step-by-step guidance, supply lists that don’t overcomplicate things, and project stories that show the real process—wins, do-overs, and all. Every post is written to be useful: accurate measurements, clear instructions, and photos that help you understand what’s happening at each stage.

This site stays focused on making and learning, not on hype. When you read, share, attend a class, or reach out with a question, you help keep Dulce Quilts independent and centered on the quilting community—so the schedule, gallery, and blog can keep growing with you.
