Meet the Makers Behind the Quilts

This gallery is stitched together by a small crew of quilters, writers, and photographers. We share finished pieces, in-progress peeks, and the details—blocks, bindings, and fabrics—that make each project feel personal.

Dulce Martinez

Founder & Quilt Designer

Dulce designs the quilts you see here, from sketch to final stitch. She loves bold color, crisp piecing, and sharing what she learns so other makers can finish with confidence.

Hannah Brooks

Pattern Tester & Proofreader

Hannah tests patterns, checks measurements, and makes sure instructions read clearly at the sewing machine. If a step is confusing, she flags it and helps smooth it out.

Marco Alvarez

Project Photographer

Marco captures the close-ups—texture, quilting lines, and those satisfying sharp points. He focuses on true color and detail so you can see what the fabric is really doing.

Keisha Nguyen

Finishing & Binding Specialist

Keisha is all about the finish: tidy bindings, smooth edges, and labels that last. She shares practical tips that make the final steps calmer and more consistent.

Rowan Patel

Color & Fabric Curator

Rowan helps plan palettes and fabric pulls that photograph beautifully and sew even better. They love mixing modern prints with classic solids for a balanced look.

Elaine Carter

Classes & Community Host

Elaine coordinates workshops and keeps the schedule running smoothly. She’s happiest helping beginners get comfortable with tools, terminology, and their first finished block.

A place to browse finished quilts, in-progress details, and the small design choices that make each piece feel personal.

Dulce Quilts began as a way to save and share the projects coming off my cutting table—blocks, bindings, and all the happy experiments in between. This gallery collects those photos in one spot, so you can scroll for inspiration without digging through posts.

Every quilt here is photographed to highlight what makers care about: color palettes, piecing lines, quilting texture, and the way a pattern changes with fabric choices. When possible, I’ll add notes on techniques, materials, and what I’d do differently next time—so the images are useful, not just pretty.

This gallery is curated without sponsored placements or paid “features.” It’s simply the work, shared openly for fellow quilters who love learning by looking. If you enjoy these projects, the best support is reading, sharing, and coming back for new makes as they’re finished.
